On the afternoon of June 4, 2025, Mr. Darren Teng, Chairman of the Board of Cambodia Securities Plc., was invited by the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce to attend the “Sailing Out and Collaborating Far Southeast Asia Investment, Economy, and Legal Forum” held in Shanghai Hongqiao International Business District, and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Cambodia’s Golden Decade”.
The forum was jointly organized by the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, the Minhang District Government of Shanghai, and hosted by the Hongqiao International Central Legal Affairs Construction Leading Group Office, Shanghai Nanhongqiao Investment Development Group, and Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center. H.E. Lim Lork Piseth, Secretary State, Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia led the Cambodian delegation to attend, accompanied by Cambodia Securities Plc., representatives of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Branch, Chinese and Cambodian legal experts and more than 150 Chinese companies.
Through this keynote speech, Mr. Darren Teng deeply analyzed the potential for Cambodia’s economic development and the golden decade of Cambodia’s capital market, promoted Cambodia’s business environment and future investment value to investors, and contributed to promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Cambodia and Cambodia’s economic development.
